It's been a few days since we have been able to update the blog. However heres a small update, we have travelled up to Bargarra to the north of Brisbane, after leaving Surfers. The countryside changed a lot through the trip from Mountiains to forests, then to sugarcane plantations. The trip took us nearly 4 hours in the car but was lovely to see the difference from commercial areas to areas of beauty. We visited family on the way up in a town called Caloundra, David's cousin Norman and his wife Alison kindly put us up for the night. The next day we travelled up to Bargarra, where we visited more family, Norman's brother Micheal and his wife Anne, and David's Aunt Lil and Uncle Ted (Norman and Micheal's parents). I had my birthday there too and managed to get a swim in the morning in the sun, I've never had a sunny birthday by the pool before.......
We travelled back to Brisbane for one night and to visit the city. The following day we flew back to Sydney, where we are currently staying in Avalon on the coast...More beaches, more fun for the children cause its blue sea again!!!

Binna Burra was up in the mountains with some fantastic views...
...and some huge rain-forest trees!!! Mummy drove very well!!!

Goodbye Madison's Garden Retreat :(
On Sunday we had to leave Madison's Garden Retreat to prepare for our trip to Surfers Paradise!
Sarah and Dan's Wedding
We had a lovely day at Sarah and Dan's wedding. The service and wedding party was fantastic!
It was great fun on the bus back to Madison's Garden Retreat!

Madison's Mountain Retreat
On Friday we travelled to Madison's Mountain Retreat where we had a BBQ in the evening. Earlier in the day we went for a walk with our Uncle Allen where there were some fantastic views of the Blue Mountains. We also fed the Alpacas!

The Weekend Ahead
This weekend is the wedding!!!! Today (Friday 9th) we're heading off to the Blue Mountains with the family to prepare for Sarah's Wedding tomorrow. The journey will take about 1 hour and there will be about 50 of us at the resort and we'll meet for this evenings BBQ (the first this holiday, but not the last!!!).
The children are preparing themselves to do their jobs in the service, Brooke is scattering petals in front of the bride, Fletcher is the ring bearer and Caitlin will present the bride with good luck charms. So they are just as nervous as the groom!!!
